A American-Palestinian teenager after completing a nine-month period in imprisonment by Israel without being charged has been freed.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old when he was arrested this past winter within the occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.

American diplomatic officials said it welcomed the teenager's freedom.

Mohammed, now 16, required hospitalization for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.

Family described him as showing signs of malnutrition, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.

Via family representatives, the youth's uncle expressed the family's "tremendous relief".

Family member Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "living a horrific and endless nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Right now, we are focused on getting Mohammed the immediate medical attention necessary for his recovery after experiencing Israel's abuse and inhumane conditions over several months."

The state department said it would continue to provide consular support to Mohammed's family.

{"US government authorities considers paramount than the safety and security of American nationals"," officials stated.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers had signed a letter to the state department and the White House, demanding more be done to release him.

Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four operating an ice cream shop in Florida, had earlier stated his child admitted guilt regarding stone throwing due to physical abuse.

He had not seen nor direct contact since the arrest, learning information solely about his son's condition in detention through court documents.

He stayed absent formal charges at Ofer detention facility throughout the occupied territory.

The facility also contains adult prisoners, including individuals found guilty of serious terrorism offences and murder.

Subsequent to his liberation, Mr Kadur said they would maintain their efforts demanding accountability for their family member family member Sayfollah.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen who the Palestinian health ministry said was beaten to death by settlement residents amid clashes in July.

Initially, military authorities reported officials were investigating accounts of a Palestinian was deceased.

The two cousins collaborated in the family ice cream shop from Tampa.

No one has been charged regarding Sayfollah's death.

"We anticipate US authorities to ensure our family's safety," the uncle stated.
